  • 100g of unsalted butter, melted
  • 100g of granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions:


  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a baking tin with butter.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the melted butter and vanilla extract to the egg mixture and stir gently.
  • Sift in the flour, baking powder, and salt, then fold the mixture until just combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking tin and smooth the top with a spatula.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the cake is golden brown and a skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the cake to cool in the tin for a few minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
