Ingredients:
- 200g of maida
- 50g of vanilla custard powder
- 200ml of milk
- 100g of sugar
- 5g of dry yeast
- 50ml of chocolate syrup
Kitchen Tools Needed:
- Stove Top
- Pressure Cooker
Instructions:
- In a bowl, mix 200g of maida, 5g of dry yeast, and 100g of sugar.
- Heat 200ml of milk and mix it with the dry ingredients until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth, then let it rest for 30 minutes in a warm place, covered with a damp cloth.
- After resting, divide the dough into small balls.
- In a separate bowl, prepare the custard by mixing 50g of vanilla custard powder with a little milk (taken from the total) and heat it until thick, then let it cool.
- Flatten each dough ball and place a teaspoon of the custard in the center and fold it into a bun shape, sealing the edges.
- Place the buns in the greased pressure cooker, leaving space for them to rise.
- Let the buns rise for about 15 minutes in the cooker (without the lid) until they puff up slightly.
- Add a little water to the pressure cooker and cover it with the lid. Cook on medium heat for about 10-12 minutes, without pressure.
- Once done, remove the lid and drizzle warm chocolate syrup over the buns before serving.
