Fluffy All-Purpose Flour Cake

Ingredients:


  • 200g of all-purpose flour
  • 150g of sugar
  • 100g of butter
  • 250ml of milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp of baking powder
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions:


  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • In a bowl, cream together 100g of softened butter and 150g of sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add 2 large eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Stir in 1 tsp of vanilla extract.
  • In another bowl, mix 200g of all-purpose flour, 1 tsp of baking powder, and a pinch of salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with 250ml of milk, beginning and ending with the flour mixture.
  • Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • Let the cake cool for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
