Ingredients:
- 200g of all-purpose flour
- 150g of sugar
- 100g of butter
- 250ml of milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp of baking powder

Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a bowl, cream together 100g of softened butter and 150g of sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add 2 large eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in 1 tsp of vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, mix 200g of all-purpose flour, 1 tsp of baking powder, and a pinch of salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with 250ml of milk, beginning and ending with the flour mixture.
- Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and smooth the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
