Decadent Chocolate Vanilla Layer Cake

Ingredients:


  • 200g of Sugar
  • 100g of Brown Sugar
  • 150g of Chocolate
  • 100g of Chocolate Chips
  • 2 tsp of Vanilla Essence
  • 50g of Icing Sugar
  • 2 cups of Vanilla

  • Oven
  • Blender
  • Food Processor

Instructions:


  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • In a blender, combine 200g of sugar, 100g of brown sugar, and 2 cups of vanilla. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  • Melt 150g of chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until completely melted. Allow to cool slightly.
  • In a food processor, combine the melted chocolate and the sugar-vanilla mixture. Blend until fully integrated.
  • Gradually add 100g of chocolate chips to the mixture.
  • Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Let the cake cool completely before icing.
  • For the icing, mix 50g of icing sugar with 1-2 tablespoons of water or milk until smooth and spreadable.
  • Once the cake is cool, spread the icing evenly on top and decorate with additional chocolate chips, if desired.
