Ingredients:

  • 2 Apples, peeled and diced
  • 100g of Sugar
  • 150g of Flour
  • 100ml of Water
  • 50g of Honey
  • 200g of Dark chocolate

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Oven

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the diced apples with 50g of sugar and let them sit for 10 minutes to release some juices.
  • In another bowl, mix the flour and the remaining 50g of sugar together. Add the water and honey and whisk until you have a smooth batter.
  • Fold the diced apples into the batter until well combined.
  • Line a baking tray with parchment paper and spoon dollops of the mixture onto the tray, ensuring they are spaced apart.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • While the fritters are baking, melt the dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a pot of simmering water, stirring until smooth.
  • Once the fritters are done, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly before dipping each one halfway in the melted chocolate.
  • Place the chocolate-dipped fritters back on the parchment to set, and enjoy!
