Ingredients:
- 2 Apples, peeled and diced
- 100g of Sugar
- 150g of Flour
- 100ml of Water
- 50g of Honey
- 200g of Dark chocolate
Kitchen Tools Needed:
- Oven
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the diced apples with 50g of sugar and let them sit for 10 minutes to release some juices.
- In another bowl, mix the flour and the remaining 50g of sugar together. Add the water and honey and whisk until you have a smooth batter.
- Fold the diced apples into the batter until well combined.
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper and spoon dollops of the mixture onto the tray, ensuring they are spaced apart.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- While the fritters are baking, melt the dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a pot of simmering water, stirring until smooth.
- Once the fritters are done, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly before dipping each one halfway in the melted chocolate.
- Place the chocolate-dipped fritters back on the parchment to set, and enjoy!
