Savory Fish Bun

Ingredients:


  • 200g of white fish fillet
  • 50g of flour
  • 1 egg
  • 30g of breadcrumbs
  • 50g of lettuce
  • 10g of mayonnaise
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp of olive oil

Kitchen Tools Needed:


  • Mixing bowl
  • Baking tray
  • Oven
  • Rolling pin
  • Parchment paper

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • In a mixing bowl, season the fish fillet with salt, pepper, and olive oil. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes or until fully cooked.
  • Once the fish is cooked, mash it with a fork and mix in mayonnaise and chopped lettuce.
  • In another bowl, combine flour and egg to make a dough. Knead until smooth.
  • Roll out the dough and cut it into a circle, then place some of the fish filling in the center.
  • Fold the dough over to form a bun shape and seal the edges tightly.
  • Coat the bun with breadcrumbs and place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake in the oven for another 15 minutes until golden brown.
