Ingredients:
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 200g of all-purpose flour
- 2g of yeast
- 1g of baking soda
- 10g of sugar
- 50g of butter, melted
Kitchen Tools Needed:
- Blender
- Stove Top
Instructions:
- Begin by heating a small pan on the stove top and add chopped onions. Sauté the onions on medium heat until they become translucent and slightly caramelized. Remove from heat and let cool.
- In a blender, combine the sautéed onions, 50g of melted butter, and 10g of sugar. Blend until smooth.
- In a bowl, mix 200g of all-purpose flour with 2g of yeast and 1g of baking soda.
- Pour the blended onion mixture into the flour mixture and stir until just combined. Do not overmix. If it's too thick, you can add a little water to reach a thicker batter consistency.
- Preheat the oven to 190°C (370°F). Fill a muffin tin with muffin liners or grease it lightly.
- Scoop the batter into the muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the muffins are golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
